Possible to buy 116509 end links?

Hi - as the title says. I'm looking to buy a 116509 blue dial daytona in the next few months - the WG bracelet is amazing but wanted to experiment with an integrated leather or rubber strap as well.

I'm aware the 116509 line has several options with integrated straps (the racing dial, the meteorite dial) - is it possible to obtain these anywhere to fix onto the blue dial version?

Thanks in advance!

My understanding is the watches that came with an alternative braclelet, such as OysterFlex, have a completly different case. I know that my 126509, the endlink is machined into the case.

There are aftermarket solutions out there, but all that I have seen are made from stainless and now gold.

Huh, thanks for that - wasn't aware the case was totally different. I know the 116509 meteorite has two versions - one with the WG bracelet and one with the leather strap. Are we saying that these have different cases? I would think that would be unlikely.

On strap watches the end-link spacer is fitted into a machined profile that extends across the top of the case and under the bezel, the end link is not removable, nor is it an available-for-sale part.,

There are, however, several aftermarket makers of a gap filler.

There is a WG Daytona with leather, but it’s not 116509

I just recently purchased a 116519. Those “pieces” that you see between the strap and case, are not end links….they are actually part of the case.

You're right, my mistake. That would be the 116519.
