The quality of this video is the closest that I have seen in terms of what the new FOIS is like in person under certain lighting.

It’s a beautiful watch! The decision to add one to my collection is contingent on where this settles on the secondary market

Congrats. I saw my 1st one in the metal at a Topper event Friday. I like it a lot. I really like the bracelet.

Fairly certain this will join the collection once I see one in person.

When it does happen, it'll be the 4th time I've tried some iteration of the Speedy but I think it has what it takes to actually remain in my collection! The whole "fauxtina" doesn't bother me, as I see it as just another design cue that differentiates it from other watches, including ones in my possession.

I like it very much but I would like to change those polished seconds, minute and hour hands to EW/Speedy pro white baton hands. Then it would be perfect in my opinion and legibility would be much better.

I guess if you were so inclined you could change the hand set, but it’s supposed to be a tribute to the CK2998 which had the polished hands.

I actually really like them, but it’s certainly not as legible for sure - that said, I don’t find it any issue

No way. This will be a 4-5k watch on the used market in 1-2 years. For the next year itself, maybe 6k.

I think you’ll be waiting a while for 4-5k. Much like the white dial, I don’t think they’ll flood the market and they should hold up - better than the standard speedy at any rate.

I may be biased, but anyone cross shopping this to the pro should consider.

1. This is better finished in general
2. Have a look at the dial - it cost more to produce and is far better looking
3. The case is the same as the E/W, and better finished than most boggo speedies
4. The sapphire is 100% better with no ring and a lovely distortion.

That said it’s a chunk of change. Thoughts?
