Black sub date 2024 vs Starbucks (MK2) 2024

If I can only keep one of these watches, to use as a daily wear and to be my one and only watch. Which one should I keep and why?

As a one and only ever, the black one. Just goes with everything and as time has shown subs are timeless.

Black because it matches every occasion overall easier - also easier for me to match because I wear business attire daily for work so that would be my choice. The starbucks pops more though of course because of the color.

One of the things I love about my black submariner is the ability to dress up or dress down. Casual or business attire, it always works. Not saying the starbucks cant do the same, but IMO just not as well.

I have the green and I also deliberated the same question before buying it. Black is the absolute classic and absolutely amazing.

Green is just a little different (not just from the black submariner but from the sea of blue and black watches that most people wear). And MK2 colour is just amazing.

I have the black and kinda wished I had gotten the LV green bezel. Black over time gets boring as it's a all black monotone dial/bracelet.

The green (or any color) makes stuff more exciting to look at! I love my sub but if given the option to exchange it for a starbucks/kermit, I'll do it in a heartbeat.

I have the black, but after getting the Starbucks - I think it’s a great every day watch. Goes with everything but has enough pop.

Keep whatever reference that YOU like the most.
If people only obtained the references they truly had their heart set on, not because .....

The person doesn't really want that reference, but bought it anyway for FOMO...
The price is going up...
They are still trading way above retail...
They are being discontinued...
The person bought it to keep in their safe, then 5 years later complain because it's still worth more than they paid for it......

there would be watches available for the people that truly want them.

Be sure to read this forum if you ever go on holiday so you know what countries you can wear the watch in.
