1990 Rolex Sea-Dweller ref. 16600 “Vivid Patina, Box and Papers”

Up for grabs is a Rolex Sea-Dweller

Reference 16600

E serial number circa 1990 production with warranty papers dated in 1991 at time of purchase new.

Excellent vintage condition case with even and sharp lugs, either unpolished or very close to it and previously touched up on sides. Legible numbers between the lugs.

Dial is original, glossy with nice vivid cream patina on plots and hands. No spidering or matting or spotting. Hands are original and tritium, lighter in patina as normal and correct for this time period.

Bezel insert is original with matching patina pip. There is a scratch on the insert as well as a couple chips on edges of crystal from normal wear.

Caseback appears to be unpolished.

Bracelet is original Rolex 93160 with 11 links, correct SEL, and N date code. Light/moderate stretch from use as seen in pictures.

This watch comes complete with Rolex boxes, warranty papers, both hang tags, the Sea-Dweller tool-kit (its missing the long extra extension and the tool), and a service receipt from Rolex Japan in 1996. No other accessories. No further service history is known, the watch currently shows +10 seconds with ~260 amplitude on timegrapher.
