When my son inherits my watch, it'll have all my marks and years of use on it. I'd not wish the history to be erased with a polish.
I'd also be afraid they would try polish out the dent on the lug and you could end up with big chamfers (the infamous Bexley edge/bevel). |

Finally received the quote for the repair to my Sub Date. I did have to call them and say “hey! I’m waiting for you to contact me”. The Service Advisor apologised and said we wanted to talk with you first before sending the quote. Well they had my number etc.
So I got the quote: Complete overhaul £583.33 Replace crystal (anti reflective) £96.00 Replace Oscillating weight £73.00 Sub Total £648.16 Vat @20% (standard in the UK) £129.63 Total payable £777.79 If I want the case and bracelet refinishing add another £125.00 inc Vat Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
