I’m sure quite where this leaves my wife. She has the Snoopy 2 and 3 because she likes Snoopy not because she’s a true watch guy. |

The Daytona bracelet was more comfortable, but I doubled my money selling it to someone that needed one badly enough to pay way too much. |

The legibility is an issue for me as well. I know to some it’s not as important, but to me it’s pretty up there in terms of whether a watch will last … Quick … what time is it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Both work well enough. They're both blue, too.

White dial Speedy is just superb, I buy watches to tell the time, if I cannot see the time quickly and simply it doesn't matter how hyped it is, how overblown it's reputation is, I'm not owning one.
The white dial Speedmaster is so so so much better than the white dial Daytona IMHO, I just love that Speedmaster look. In fact I'd go as far as saying that any Speedy blows any Daytona out of the water, to be blunt; if my AD offered me a Daytona I'd pass. I do not doubt the quality of the Rolex, I know from owning Rolex watches that they are well built and reliable, the Daytona's movement is highly rated and am sure that the Daytona would be a watch to keep forever. But, and it is a huge but, for me it is a design that just leaves me cold, if Rolex made the next Daytona look more like a Speedmaster I'd be banging the AD's door down to get one.

it is interesting that on the secondary market, a canopus gold speedy is about the price of the panda. I like the canopus gold one at secondary market prices - a little more subtle and interesting... for those who like PM. Nevertheless, the true speedys are steel
