Collection Rotation

I have 4 Rolex SS sport models and tend to wear one of them for about a week and then switch to another. Some get the nod more often than others.

Curious to know what others here do.

Pretty similar. I have three Rolexes, two Tudors and a quartz Grand Seiko in the mix. My TT Sea Dweller gets the most wrist time and I'll often wear it for weeks on end before getting a hankering to wear something else. That happened this week and I pulled out my Black Bay Chrono and wore it the entire week. This morning, I pulled my vintage TT DJ off the winder and will wear it probably just today, then back to the Tudor. The 70 hour power reserve of the modern watches and the insane accuracy of the Seiko 9F allows me to easily rotate for a day or two each week.

Frankly I have too many watches, and have a fair number of lesser pieces I never wear any more. I've also sworn I'd never get rid of a watch again, so there's that.

Got one more watch on my list, a grail if you will, that being a 40MM DD and that will be the end of my watch buying.

I have a large collection, 30-40, watches and tend to gravitate toward my Rolex Divers. My Submariner ND, 124060, just got back from a movement service and I have been wearing it almost non stop. I stopped trying to figure it out years ago about what watches to wear and when and for how long. I typically match my activities to the watch and go from there.

Mine is an every two or three days rotation. Sometimes twice in one day if the occasion requires.

Collection Rotation

I have 5 watches. It varies. I used to rotate every day and every watch got equal wrist time. But now I wear one for several days or maybe as much as a week. And it’s not as balanced. My GMT BLNR seems to get a lot more wrist time than the others.

I’ve been thinking about going back to the daily rotation. So I might start that again.

Roughly every 3 days for me and I try and give them all a fairly equal amount of wrist time

Pretty much the same as you. I find it difficult to take some off more than others but they all get a go. This week it's been my Seiko 5 Sports ‘Blueberry’ GMT SKX. Tomorrow my Blue SS Sky Dweller gets to spend a week on my wrist.

I have 7, currently. Oris and Seiko never get worn in the office. They just don't fit my outfits. At work, in order of wrist time, it's my OP34 olive, BB58 blue, Sub, GS date-day, ExII polar.

Life in general, my BB58 and OP get the most wrist time. When I travel, either for work, or holiday, it's one of those two as well.

Rotation is largely task specific.

just home from two weeks of travel,
I get to swap out my dedicated travel watch the explorer II.

If the occasion is a bit rugged I’ll wear a rolex,
if a bit more casual or dressy I’ll likely put on a Patek.

Pic of the last night in Sicily. Drove around the island and finished up in Palermo.

One week rotation more or lees. Feeling pain for the ones that stay in the box and even thinking if it’s logic to increase the collection…it is?

I also have watches for sport, coaching and gardening.

Yes, I’m weird!
