Easier to get at AD: DJ41 Wimbledon fluted or Exp 2 polar
Put my interest for both at AD but didn’t get any insight from the sales rep. Curious on thoughts which would be easier to get.

I’ve been offered the DJ Wimbledon 2x but never a Polar.

Depends on the demands in the Chicago area. No one can tell you.

I'd guess probably relatively equal difficulty between the two. I know nothing though.

I’d say probably about the same. I would bet they call you with an Explorer 2 black dial offer before either of those

Explorer ii has been in every window of Rolex AD I’ve looked at this week -LHR, and two in nyc. Definitely easier than it was imho.

It depends on the area and the demand, but the Datejust.

I got my DJ in about 5 weeks. It’s 2 tone yellow gold with a silver dial.

Explorer II should be easier to get. Generally, Datejusts are easier to get, but the Wimbledon dial is the most in-demand dial generally and since there are so many more Datejust variants, getting the specific bracelet, bezel, and dial combination you want may take a little longer than usual. In the past, ADs were able to order or request specific Datejust combinations for clients, but I think that has fallen by the wayside.
The Explorer II only only comes two ways, ADs likely get several a month. |
