GMT 16750 Jubilee /Oyster spring bar
Greetings! So, I have a 16750 with original jubilee band and spring bars. I purchased a SS Oyster knockoff (to give change and preserve jubilee) My spring bar seems too thick to go through the oyster bracelet. Is there a different spring bar for Jubilee and Ouster? Or is the band just not going to work? Thanks for any helpful info….

Spring-bars come in a variety of diameters (1.5mm, 1.8mm, 2.0mm, etc). Since you are talking about a non-Rolex bracelet, we don't know what spring-bar is required.
In principle, the lug holes of the watch can become worn over time from undersized spring-bar ends. Just something to keep in mind.

Dan is quite right. What I'd do is pick up a box-set of various sized spring bars. They are relatively affordable.
With regard to the A/M bracelet though... I'd use caution. I'd hate to cause damage to the watch head. The engravings between the lugs are incredibly shallow and can easily be disfigured. Just a thought.

Older GMTs with through the lug holes generally use a 2.00mm thick spring bar.
Your knock off is likely drilled for the plentiful other 1.8mm bars. Personally I would ream out the bracelet for proper spring bars so you don't end up with a compromise spring bar end that could damage the lug holes in your watch case.

I agree with tools. The bracelet probably came with 1.8mm diameter spring bars especially if the end links are the proper width.
