Skydweller vs Explorer 2 Size Comparison

Anyone have both? Which one bigger on the wrist?

What’s your wrist size? They both look good on you.

I own the Explorer II and I’ve tried on the Skydweller, the Explorer is and feels thinner but the Skydweller does feel overall smaller on the wrist. I was actually quite surprised by how wearable it was. My wrist is over 18 cm and the seize felt right, only thing was the thickness, I would prefer it to be a bit thinner

The Sky Dweller looks a bit bigger, the Explorer II wears a bit bigger, at least on my wrist. The wearing comfort of both watches is excellent but the Sky Dweller wears more comfortably when it's on Jubilee (not that its uncomfortable on Oyster).

Given the two watches in question, I find the Sky D much more desirable than the Exp II. I love the Annual Calendar and the Ring Command bezel which makes set-up really easy. I also really like the fact that it's got a quick set date. I owned a five series Exp II and really couldn't warm up to it.

The explorer 2 wears bigger on the wrist because of its slab sided case, but it’s thinner.

The sky-dweller wears smaller and has smoother case lines that curve downward. It wears much better on my wrist compared to my EXP2.

Is that the Rolex boutique at the orchard street Ion mall in Singapore?

i think the SkyD looks too large on these wrists, but that wouldnt stop me from wearing. Having owned both, i think the SkyD feels and wears bigger, but honestly, i think the differences are subtle and no one will notice

Own SkyD, and while large…it wears really well. Comfortable. Have tried Exp II on, and it felt larger in wrist…perhaps due to being slab sided?

SkyD fits better on wrist but higher. Exp2 fits bigger with longer more flat lugs.

I also feel the same way, for me the Skydweller just feels bigger and more substantial in the way it sits on my wrist in terms of weight and top heavy feel, both very comfy though...my 42mm collection plus a Blue SS skydweller....

Skydweller is a bigger watch in diameter and thickness. Dial color might mess with you opinion on that but the ExpII is sleeker for sure.

Skydweller is bigger, feels bigger, wears bigger and looks bigger than the formidable exp 2.

Sky D is substantial but enjoy both. Wish BLRO was 42mm.

Looks like the dial-to-bezel ratio of the Sky-D makes it wear larger. Good example of how measured diameter only tells part of the story of how big or small a watch looks on the wrist.

Skydweller vs Explorer 2 Size Comparison

I don’t have both but I literally just tried on the white sky dweller. It’s thicker but you already knew that. If you can pull of an explorer ii then you can pull of a sky dweller. Super comfortable jubilee as well.

Wrist is about 19cm. 7 and a half inches. No links removed from either.
Angle of shot makes it appear over hang. Neither does.
