Icon20 Cartier Quartz Movement Storage

How do you storage your Cartier with a quartz movement ....with crown pull out or crown in?

Some people say crown pull out to save battery other says crown in to have to watch running to preserve to movement.

What are your thoughts?

In general, a dead battery should be removed and especially in a storage situation. Worst case, then the battery can rupture and cause damage to the internal components.

Comes down the the storage period? If it will be stored in a safe and wont see daylight for next 30 years, then i would have the battery removed. Short term, just let i run.

It's the same answer to the same question you posted in the AP Board.
