Repair under warranty
Hi all - if I get service under the original five year warranty because of a defect, does Rolex issue a service card or some other evidence that the watch was serviced? Thank you.

I had my Milgauss serviced for gaining time, received this. MAYBE a service card, I'm not at home and can't recall.

No.
You need to send it through the AD now days so you usually don't even know what they fixed. If you have a week left on your warranty when you send it in, when you get it back - you have a week left.

Sent one to Dallas RSC directly in June, has that ended? I'm kind of out of the loop.

Hey there! Yes, if your watch is serviced under warranty for a defect, Rolex typically provides a detailed service document that outlines what was done. However, they don’t issue a separate service card, so the original warranty card remains as is. That service paperwork is great to keep for your records and can come in handy down the line!

A watch that goes wrong under warranty gets fixed. It doesn't get a service as such. Outside the 5 year warranty it will get a service, a nice leather pouch and a white card.

My Sub was running 15 - 20 seconds slow, it was sent in via my AD for a warranty repair, all that I was given when the watch was returned was the watch, which now runs perfectly. |

Agree, they are very vague about repairs under warranty. Yes, you can still do this. I just sent a warranty repair and they turned around in 3 days. Longest waiting was for registered mail shipment to get to Dallas. |

I sent my Sub Date (41mm) off to Dallas RSC as the New York RSC is under renovations. It took a month from when I sent it off to receiving back, which I was shocked/excited at how quickly it happened. I had a scratched crystal and a couple of other things that needed to be fixed. They will give you an estimate with the work that will be done and you have to approve before they will work on your watch. I did not get a detailed list of what was done to it after it was completed. I did get the leather pouch, though.

I got my gmt2 date wheel fixed and didn't get a list or a card. I also had a Tudor fixed and didn't get anything either. I don't think the service centers give a proof of service anymore.

My BLRO was sent in for erratic timekeeping at about two years. Got it back in three weeks with no explanation, has been fine ever since.
