34mm RO Ceramic for a male
Anyone out there who has a, or thinks the, black ceramic 34mm Royal Oak is a suitable watch for an almost 7 inch wrist male? Anyone tried one on and decided it’s too small but otherwise love it?

My wife has it. I have a 6.5 inch wrist, and it is really too small for most men IMHO.
For context, I do have a 34mm JLC Master Ultra Thin in my collection and that size works for me, but a RO in 34 just doesn’t work. |

Thanks for the feedback, is it the narrow bracelet that makes it less suitable than the JLC or the smaller dial from the thicker bezel? Or both?

One is a vintage style dress watch where the size feels appropriate, plus it has a silver dial. The other is a sports watch and black, and just looks tiny. As a reference, 39mm is the sweet spot for a RO on my wrist. Here are pics hopefully that helps. |

JLC looks better because the dial is bigger. RO dial is too small.

Much too small. Can't try my wife's b/c I can't the resized bracelet over my hand, but on a 7" wrist it will look tiny.

34mm is way too small for normal sized male wrists. Close up pics like above on wrists always make a watch look bigger than it is and is not indicative of real life viewing ranges. I have 6.5 inch wrist and even found the 37mm too small. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

They’ve done ceramic bracelets on a multitude of ROs so don’t see the issue there

Yes my mistake I searched the wrong number. Yes the chronograph is ok but not a basic RO which is what I want, and you with the 41. Yes, ceramic complications and higher end pieces, not a basic RO which, again, is what I’m looking for. I agreed with your original we can’t know answer but still see it as completely unlikely.

My wife has the 34m CE. It's way too small for men IMO.

Around 7". I don't think it would fit, but didn't get a chance to try.

I’d love a 39mm AP ceramic as well, as I find the 41mm just a bit too massive, here it is on my wrist while doing the AP manufacture tour in Le Brassus last year. I much prefer the 39mm size of my 16202. Don’t see that happening anytime soon though. |

My thinking with the 34 is to see it kind of as a 36 Explorer when they were popular with average, even above average, wristed men. More bracelet wrap visible and relatively a smaller case. |
