Part of the hobby. I would not part with any of those pieces. Add another gold piece. You will regret selling such nice SS models. Just my opinion, of course.

If you're bored, but only if you're bored, quit wearing your watches for a while, or maybe just wear a cheap beater. It'll make you appreciate your special pieces more when you decide to revisit them.

I feel your pain. Having fewer watches, but wearing what you have more often, really lightens the load...

I recently traded four terrific pieces + $$$ for a rose gold day-date, and couldn't be happier. And I suspect that DD wll be a very long term keeper.

I did this towards the end of the summer. Put the majority of my watches away kept a couple Moonswatches, my garmin golf watch, and my PAM 000. After a couple months have been reintroducing a few of the pieces into rotation and find myself back in the honeymoon phase with them. Decided to do this as I am looking to consolidate a few of the SS for another Day Date.

I still have the exp II :)
Amazing collection. Any reason why you let everything go except 14060M and 16570?

I was buying one watch per year until I felt not so intent. End up selling all except for my sub date 41mm.

Now I feel the itch to buy a gold piece.

That’s how things can go. Full 180 and back lol.

Enjoy!

Sea dweller and yellow gold president with a beater watch for 50 years now. Perfect for me.

Sometimes a strap change is all that's needed to renew the love.

Haven’t let things go as much as trading to other comparable but different options.

In the end the sub and exp II have been in the collection because they have earned their place with Perfect marks.

Hopefully other watches will meet that bar.
The Patek 5940 is younger to the collection but it has earned its place.
