There is no wrong or right answer here, this is 100% about personal preference.
I'm the opposite of some on here- I prefer the 126500 in white, but the 116500 in black. I plan to own both some day... :). |

I can't unsee the asymmetrical case. So 12 for me.

The 11 black is ultra cool. Pure class. The 12 white is pure refinement, with a sharp contrast that pops. Fierce combination. |

Like them both, I have no preference between the 116 & 126.

11 for all variations where the dial has a direct corollary. The only exception... the black SS daytona in 12.

White dial daytona 126500ln or 116500ln
For pure collectability the 116500 panda I believe will be the one collectors covet the most in the future. Only released for 7 years. For a modern watch it is somewhat “rare.”
For wearability I believe 126500 just wears better with the new symmetric case. I can see an argument for either. To me the perfect watch would be the 116500 dial and bezel on the 126500 case. On the wrist the 126500 feels a little more premium but the 116500 wears very comfortable. If I could only keep one moving forward I would put my money where my mouth is and actually keep the 116500. I can definitely see a situation like the hulk and the new Starbucks where it surpasses the predecessor in terms of collectability and value. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

At first, I thought I was never going to like the newer version, but the more I look at it, it's growing on me.

Having tried both but with so limited wear experience (AD visits) I'd say for white 116500, for black 126500. And I'll try to go that route eventually.

White dial daytona 126500ln or 116500ln
I have the 11, and have just asked my AD to put my name down for the 12… both white.
I have already got far too many black faced watches :) |

I have the 11 white and if the AD offered me a black 12, it might be the only Rolex I would possibly consider adding to my collection. Both 11 and 12 are great watches imo…
