Visited Rolex UK Head Office, St. James Sq

We visited St. James Square yesterday. My wife needed to drop off a 2002 Datejust for a much needed full spa treatment.
They replied the same day with a quote and expected 2 week turn around which we were really pleasantly surprised with. Watch this space for the reveal in the coming weeks.

My 2022 Explorer TT 1 has been loosing 4 seconds a day. The nice lady took it in for a look whilst we waited for about 20 minutes. It was put on a timeograph, opened up and had it's Stella nuts twiddled. She said to give it a week or so to settle down, but today it's running 2 seconds fast which I'm very pleased with.
I'd always rather a fast watch than a slow one.

I couldn't resist taking a few snaps of the huge reception, window to the lab and the toilet.

Afterwards amongst some other jobs I needed to do, we visited Burlington Arcade to gaze in the window at the many watches.
A walk down Old Bond Street to see Rolex, JLC, Cartier etc. didn't enter Richard Mille as security didn't look too friendly:-)

The St James RSC is a nice place and the surroundings make for a decent few hours worth of exploring.

Looking forward to collecting my Sub Date 16610 from there soon. West Malling is no where near as glitzy as St James looking at your pictures.

They quoted me three weeks turn around if I didn’t want it refinished. In the end I have asked for a light polish and we’re now just over the three weeks. Hoping for the email to say it’s done soon.

Thanks for sharing your pics

It’s always a great place to visit, staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much.

Like the time, I mashed the link screw on Mrs new watch trying to remove a couple of links, link had to be cut off, bracelet resized and a new link supplied to keep for the future, and all while I waited.

Looks like not much has changed since my visit in 2008. Bought a black/ burgundy insert for my 16710 there, a great way to remember London.
