Are These Still Obtainable?

I love Rolex. Now I've discovered Tudor and have fallen in love all over again. My question is this: Are any of the following even available? Wonder what I'd expect to pay .....

I'm looking for a LNIB or BNIB 79160/79260/79270/79280

Hmmmmm.......

The Tudor chronos are out there. I see a late model BNIB for sale every now and then. Most that you see are used and usually in very good condition. I have a Tiger 79280 and its a great watch. Prices are usually in the $200 to $2800 range. I'd expect to pay $2500 for a nice, complete Tiger.

Dan, that is an interesting watch. Guess I've never paid attention, but really like the 79170 Tudor "Big Block". A different look, with what I assume is a rotating bezel. Thanks!

They are fantastic quality watches. The primary difference lies in the movements, which are typically sourced from ETA or ETA-Valjoux on modern models after about the 1960s. I think the steel grades can be different but don't quote me on that.

The difference in vintage Tudors vs Rolex [50's thru mid to late 90's] were Swiss made, Rolex modified movements vs Rolex in house movements. The case, crowns, and in many references, bracelets, were made of the same components.

Dan,

That 79170 is awesome with the black face. Need to get me one of those as my next watch.
