GMT doesn't look right to me

Try as I might, I can't make my date take up that little space in my 16610 cyclops. Any GMT experts out there? Only 2 hours left on this one with 2 bids.

Looks ok to me, all the reference number I can see in the pics all add up

The date mag is different on these, heres an example:

The patina on the dial looks a little too new. The watch itself looked to be real.

I'm not 100% sure but I'll take a stab in the dark I have a feeling its to do with the distance between dial and crystal being just a tad less than the sub's, on some of the explorer II's it seems to be the same, if I'm wrong the guys will correct me :-)
