A Rolex For Doing Your Laundry

It's snowing here in Boston and I'm doing the home office thing this afternoon so I figured why not throw some laundry in the machine. Unfortunately, I can't hear when my washing machine stops from my livingroom, but I know about how long it takes to do a load of wash. I let the first load sit for way too long before changing and thought there must be a better way to enjoy watching all the Rolexes on the Soprano's and do my laundry in a timely manner...needless to say I turned to my trusty LV and a little bezel turn.

I understand that this is certainly not the "intended use" for my lovely green bezel, but hell it works for me.

I know I gotta go change it in 25mins, and I'm pretty sure that there isn't a 25min span of the day that I don't enjoy my wrist candy.

Maybe my wife will get me a new Rollie to do the laundry for a year. That would be a good contract. Nice watch!

Not that's what I call a "sofa diver".

It was supposed to be nice out too when I saw the weather 2 days ago. I guess New England weather is really unpredictable.

Agreed I do need to get a chrono for the collection. Been trying to decide on that lately.

Chronos are nice, but you don't get that cool green bezel

You're not alone, my friend! laundry-timing is the PRIMARY use for the bezel on my 14060M.

Heck, I use my Rolex bezel to time cooking pasta, brewing tea, or even time on a parking meter.

I use my bezel daily for time all sorts of things. i like the fact it is so simple. No beeps or button pushing just twist and go.
