Difficult call; I like the box but I would fold if it were poker.

Easy one. The word "Rolex" and the crown are on the WRONG side of the outer box.

Can't speak for the watch for lack of decent pics, but the box is a typical example of what you can expect to see and AVOID. These replicas, although the pattern is close, use colors that are exagerated, (notice how the gold crown and "Rolex" are almost indistinguishable). The pattern and colors on a genuine Rolex outer box are much more subtle, allowing for the gold crown and "Rolex", (located on the lower left hand side of the box), to be much more prominent. The inner box, which I believe Dave was referring to, has no finish to speak of giving it an almost "bare" appearance. Again a genuine Rolex inner box of that style has what I can only refer to as a type of "gun oil" finish to the wood (yellowed or aged patena).

Thank you. Apologies for not introducing myself. I've been a fan of this forum for quite some time, but have only recently decided to weigh-in on some of the topics I feel comfortable with in terms of my "newbie" status (still have alot to learn).
