JJ - I forgot to mention that you pictures are outrageously great!
As I was driving home yesterday, there was a huge billboard for a local AD with the GMTIIc TT just like JJ's watch and it really blew me away! It also made me come back to this thread and take another look and admit that JJ is right - as usual! |

JJ your right in a way, that watch is stunning, but i would prefer the green bits to be red. Anyway after Basel, apart from the Black sub, any TT or gold watch of Rolex are better than some of the new green models.

Would that Rolex would offer the TT GMTC with a beautiful cobalt blue dial....It would be a watch of grail-like status then....Unfortunately, the tender designers at Rolex just KNOW that what everyone wants is a flat baby-blue dial on a tool watch.. The same people,no doubt, who are responsible for the dial flowers and glued-on emeralds an rubies, etc etc.

As soon as I get on a plane the GMT IIc becomes the best watch in the world.
For dressing up in a suit and time the datejust becomes the best watch in the world. For kicking back and sipping bourbon in a green polo shirt the Sub LV is the best watch in the world. |

JJ you say there is no way to improve the watch, sorry to say you are wrong. One way to make it absolutely perfect is for it to be on my wrist and not yours....So if you want perfection JJ send it my way....lol

sbakar, I totally agree, I have one and I love it, understated precision. And you don't see many on the wild, come to think of it I haven't seen any...
