Tools for new job?

I've been working at the local international airport for the past 13 years. The company I represent is offering me a job as traveling project manager for 200 airports across North America and the Caribbean.

Now what tools could I use to make travel [new to me as far as work] productive, enjoyable, and interesting?
-Laptop, gotta keep up with the forums [cycling, bass guitars, and of course, watches ] Not to mention email.
-Cell phone, both personal and business.
-ROLEX GMT II, as luck would have it, I recently aquired a watch to cover 3 different timezones.

Still looking at all the local employment options but if I do accept the job it's nice to have a great tool watch as a travel companion.

Whht a deal!! but damn, if you had waited on the GMT you could maybe have gotten ohhh lets say a nice TOG, or a Sub and now with this promotion you could go back and say hey, I need yet another watch a GMT!

Too bad, had you gotten the watch when your employment in the position started, you could have expensed the watch on you taxes. I figure you could have gotten an additional 10% back?

The Government usually sets an allowance for stuff like this. As the watch is expensive (To luxurious) and you could have gotten something cheaper (Seiko), you won't get that much back, but anything helps.

Congrats on the job offer. That's a particularly great shot of a great watch. You might think about a 'Smartphone'. Combination PDA/Computer/Phone they do it all. Some run Windows Mobile, file compatible w/MS apps, Outlook email w/attachments, Wi-Fi built in, etc... Pretty cool. Caribbean vs Cubicle... hmmm Were it me, my current employer would be seeing my arse shrink with a few of these to boot...

It may seem like I'm doing nothing but, at a cellular level, I'm actually quite busy...

Congrats and good luck.
Traveling all the time can and will be tiresome but having your GMT will make it better!
