Rolex sign out in the city

I was browsing through some old photos of Hong Kong and found this:

A photo of from the 1960s.
Find a Rolex sign in it and find it really interesting.
Enjoy.

Very nostalgic, pal. What are would that be in Hong Kong? There's also what appears to be a Longines ad on the right.

The tram track and where it says 豪華戲院 (now Paliburg Plaza), its right next to the Regal hotel.
I bought and sold some property in that area last year.

I get it, I recognize the tram tracks to be Hong Kong, after the post saying it to be Causeway Bay, I kind of recognize it.
It is just right outside St. Paul Convent School.

Anyways, Rolex is everywhere.

I've been to Causeway Bay a few times, but would never have recognised it from that picture.

BTW, note the older style Rolex coronet in that ad.

I see the green Rolex name, and red-orange crown on top.

Thats because the building where the rolex sign used to be has become Regal hong kong hotel.
