banged up Rolex

just wondering how many of you have banged up your rollies? I mean REALLY banged them up? My uncle was in a car accident and his rolex smashed the window and one of the diamonds on his day-date came out and was lost lol. Has anything like this ever happened to you? I know most of you probably treat your rolex's with care... but im sure you've had some scary experiences right?

Whoa... that GMT looks like it was the victim of a sledge hammer with a grudge... Hope it wasn't on anyone's wrist at the time

You got some of that right, pal.

1. It's not a GMT....it's an Invicta.
2. It was a victim of a sledge hammer attack.
3. It wasn't on anyone's wrist.

Cheers - JJ

Actually it is a funny story.

This happened on another forum like 3 years ago. There was this one member who loved Invictas and kept talking about them all day and on every damn post.

So one of the other members went out of his way, purchased an Invicta for a couple of hundred bucks and smashed the living hell out of it...just for the sake of that Invicta lover guy!!

His reaction was naturally priceless!!

The rest of us must have laughed till we half died!!

JJ, would have been great if after the photos they would have packed up that smashed up Rolex imitation and sent it to a RSC !! LOL LOL

Remember that pic of the SD that was in a motorcycle accident? Had the crystal pretty much scraped off. Looked like it was still repairable. Would have liked to have seen if the RSC could have fixed it. Should have been able to I would think. The Case still looked intact, should needed to be refinished, and most of the inner working I think were good.
