My first Breitling!

After a Cartier and a couple of Rolex I decided I wanted a very sporty watch and bought this one:

I'm very happy with it, impressed by the brand and I stress this is my first Breitling because next on my list is another one, this time I want a daily beater on a brown calf strap.

Breitling makes many many models with a blue dial and I think they look great with a brown strap, I like the Superocean a lot and in my opinion is very reasonably priced.

Any blue/brown Breitling owners out there that wan't to share pics?

Congrats on a very nice purchase!

Not a blue/brown Breitling owner myself (currently a black/black Breitling owner), but I'd love to get the Superocean Steelfish with a blue dial, as my next purchase!

Have to wait until the wife is in a VERY good mood!

Why??

Do what I did, I told her this one was close to grand (she really has no clue), I bought the GMTIIc two months ago and telling the truth on this one could have only resulted in:

1. Sleeping in the couch
2. She making me buy her a Rolex

After playing out many scenarios in my mind I decided to go with the lie...

A couple of family shots:

I just posted a question a second ago looking for advice on this exact same watch. I just tried it on today and love it, it's stunning. I want one right know, I just need to get the right price and it's mine.

Huge congrats, I'm looking for my first Breitling also, and it's going to be the same one as yours.

Congrats on your SOH. I never gave Breitling a second look until I found the heritage line, great watches that can take whatever you throw at them, and they look stunning on the wrist.

1. Worst relationship advice. Ever.

2. Man up and buy your wife a Rolex. My wife considers her Rolex the best most thoughtful gift I ever gave her. And besides I'll be damned if I'm going to walk around with an expensive watch on my wrist and let the girl on my arm wear trash.

Already bought her a nice watch, a Santos 100 she never wears, like I said she has no clue...So I'd rather lie.

Plus, there are always two ways to do things, for the guy that has to wait till his wife is in a very good mood, wait for that to happen, or tell a white lie.

No misrepresentation here, I never said I was a couples therapist!
