New T Bird vs.Old Model

Hello everyone.

My first visit to The Rolex Forums. Interested in what everyone thinks about the Old Thundrbirds. Any possibility of them becoming a collectable piece since the newer models have now been out now for well over a year? I'm beguining to see people on other websites inquire about these older stlye pieces.Lend me you thoughts.

Thanks

Hi Gil,

Welcome to TRF. The T'birds or TOGs (for Turn-O-Graphs) as they are more popularly known, aren't very popular amongst most Rolex lovers. Don't ask me why...but most of these guys would rather buy a DJ over a TOG....and for some reason, the smooth SS polished bezel seems more popular over the WG fluted ones (not to mention a considerable saving in $$$ too).

Hope you enjoy your stay here.

Cheers - JJ
