Need help with 2 explorer II's

Guys,
I'm new on here but considering this explorer II below.
Looks good to me but wanted an experts eye ?

Please view the second one as well I bought earlier this week but I am not a 100% happy with.

thanks in advanced for the help

Matt

I bought this one below but the second/hour/min hands are a different color than the hour markers and the buyer is giving me a refund. The 12:00 marker also appears to be about 1/64 off to the right?

The first one with the box/paper looks pretty good. The date looks a bit small and that makes me suspect that the sapphire crystal may have been changed for an aftermarket replacement.

There are a few scratches on the bezel and it looks like it may well need to have a service. So you may wish to have regard to that/those costs.

However overall not too bad.

The second one looks very good and at that price it was a good buy.

1st one date looks weird (maybe even the datewheel no good)

Option , have it serviced.

2nd one , hands don't match the dial but also sometimes the tritium doesn't age equally (decay starts from production) and a Exp2 doesn't have a divers extension.

Option > sell the bracelet and buy a 78360 , then have it serviced with a new dial and bezel (to shiney) and you'll have a perfect watch
