Is it real? Thanks so much.

HI everyone! I hope you all don't hate this question, but I don't have a clue what I have here.

Can anyone comment?

I've only taken it to one jewelry store and the girl said it was real, but she was no expert and said that she had to mail it off to make sure and to repair it.

Well, there was no way I was sending off a fake watch for repair so I just came home with it.

I thought I would leave it up to the experts and I totally appreciate the help.

Got it, but I think it needs to go in the trash.

I see the word Japan on the inside.

Never a good sign, at least for a Rolex.

That's where it should go.

Not stoopid.
Happens quite a lot.
I hope you never paid good money for it.

Next time, be careful of the "route" of acquiring a Rolex.
If you can be 100% sure about the route (AD, reputable dealers etc), you can be assured the watch will be 100% authentic too.
