Oyster Info Needed

I am crazy about Rolex watches, but have only been into this hobby for a few months. My first Rolex, an 'X' series blue two tone Submariner, has a bracelet that is in bad shape. I see links being sold on fleabay, but when I look at my bracelet, I notice that all the links are different sizes (i.e. the links get slightly larger and larger, starting at the clasp as they approach the end links). One of my end links definitely needs replaced, and a couple of normal links could use replacements.
So... where do I get these pieces? How do I know what to buy? New or pre owned? OEM or aftermarket?
Any information would be helpful.
I did take closeup pictures and can post if necessary, but I didn't think they would help much.

So I called the Rolex Service Center and they said they would be able to order bracelet parts for me. I'm going to send Giovanni some close up pictures of the bracelet, with little arrows pointing to the pieces I want replaced, and he'll send me pricing and availability information.
Cool!
