The Breitling Bug Bit Me Too...

I always had a soft spot for divers but when I saw this one on TZ sales corner I had to have it, period! Been looking at the SO Steelfish for a while but didn't want to come off the cash. I made an offer to a nice fellow on TZ and ended up getting this at a great price. It was originally purchased at an AD in April of this year. The code on the bracelet, 0507, suggests that the bracelet was manufactured the 5th week of 2007.

The deal came with all the goodies and even a Breitling hat! After initial inspection, I found the fit and finish to be as good as any Rolex or Omega that I have owned. At over 44mm, this is not a small chunk O' steel! In comparison to my Bond SMP, the dial is a tad smaller but it is surrounded by quite a bit of steel. Anyway, I think it is a beauty! Enjoy a few rough pics I just took right after I ripped into the delivery box.

Steelfish XL Plus is a nice watch... recently had one and sold it a few days later. Thinning the herd on my part...

The SF is the best bang for your buck for a 44mm watch.

Nice looking diver, and that Breitling is solid as a rock! Diversity is good Breitling, Omega also make watch as good a Rolex.

Is that an Emergency Mission? I believe those are slightly larger than the SO Steelfish. Anyway, it is indeed a beautiful watch! Hope you never have to use the emergency frequency.

I've never been so drawn to a watch line on account of one model like I am to Breitling because of the Navitimer. At first I always told myself that I would probably never wear one because the dial is so busy. That may still be true, but wow is it beautiful...it just LOOKS great. A friend of mine is looking to get one and all the research I've done lately has really attracted me to the brand. The pieces they've made for Bentley are stunning.
A great watch, no doubt! Wear it in good health.
