My wife has an oyster perpetual with ss and gold Jubilee bracelet. The clasp doesn't stay closed. I have compared it to mine and I can't see any obvious wear or diffences.

any help greatly appreciated before I bring it to the authorized stealer.

The older jubilee clasp is a friction fit.

If you don't feel comfortable squeezing the outer shell together for a tighter fit, take it to any watchmaker.

It's probably a minute fix.

Try this....

According to the Rolex instruction book, gently bend the bracelet blade that is directly attached to the clasp. Increasing the 'bow' will slightly shorten the distance and it will result in a tighter fit. Or maybe it's by bending the bow 'out'...I don't remember, but you can easily tell if you're bending it in the right direction because the clasp will obviously get tighter or looser.

DO NOT bend the blade that is attached to the bracelet end...only the blade that attaches to the clasp.

This is a common adjustment that will tighten the clasp fit. Just bend the blade slightly until you get the fit you want. You'll not do any harm to anything unless you bend the damn thing in half.

You can't. The clasps are of a much thicker quality and cannot be bent by hand.
