Manual Winding Question

I have a 2006 Sub Date. When I manually wind my watch in position 1 should I feel more resistance while turning the crown clockwise compared to counter-clockwise?

I don't remember feeling this resistance before.

Like most automatics you sometimes feel some slight resistance when main-spring is fully wound. But there is a slipping clutch mechanism so you cannot over-wind.

a more springlike tension CW [you can't overwind it there's like a clutch mechanism to prevent this]

Hi all,
I have a Rolex Daytona SS 16520. I don't really like the sound or feeling when manually winding my watch. Should it be like a smooth sound? also after turning the crown 20-30 times the feeling and noise change, is that normal?
Oh and this is the funniest thing. After I wind the watch, I pull the crown to set the time, if I slightly turn in Counter Clockwise, the second hand will sweep in the opposite direction. Is that normal?
Thanks for the info
