Great forum guys and gals! Glad that I found it.
I got a bit confused yesterday when I went to an AD.
I was looking at a datejust (36mm) in stainless with a white roman numeral dial and the WG fluted bezel. Oyster band. Also looked at the 41mm and it was really nice. Here is what got me confused, after looking (and almost buying) I decided that I better do my homework first because I did not remember my lastRolex costing as much (granted it was 10 years ago).

They had the MSRP on the datejust as $7700 and the MSRP on the datejustII a thousand dollars more.

The price on the dj after their "rolex mandated maximum discount" was $7100. And the djII was $1000 more. The sub was over $8000 "msrp"????

From the looks of this post I need to find a reputable dealer or a reputable seller on Ebay or GM.

Opinions?? Thanks in advance.
