WTB: Montblanc Fountain Pen

I am just starting with pens, trying to learn. I would like to buy a Montblanc fountain pen pre-owned. I don't really have a preference for which type but I would like to keep it under or around $200. Thanks!

You can get a nice 144 for that price. You could also get something vintage. I would suggest an MB 32 or 34 from the 60 s or 70s as well. Any of these wold be good daily writers. The 144 is a small pen. If you like a larger pen I would suggest a 146 which you could get for about 250 to 300. The 146 is a piston filler but the 144 takes cartridges or a cartridge converter.

Can I get the 144 brand new? Where can I find these pens?

There is a used 144 in the next thread of this board for 160, which is very reasonable. A new one will cost you about 400.

Since you are in Canada the following link may be helpful.
