Icon10 Is it ok to wear my 1680 Sub on stage?

I'm wondering if people will start lecturing me like they did in the thread where I dared to say that I go jogging with my 1680 on the wrist.

I was just perusing some photos taken at a gig this past weekend and it is usually hard to see a wrist shot, but here's one that showcases the 1680 pretty well. Anyone concerned with the effects of me jumping around in a rock band while wearing a vintage Rolex?

The only other wrist shot I have on stage was one that I took and showcased in this thread about my former lumi red 1680.

Great pic, and am sure your vintage Rolex can take the jumping!

Keep the pyrotechnics and stage dives to minimum and you should be OK. :) Nice rig BTW...

Great watch, it should be fine. I would draw the line at mountainbiking

Is that one of those floating keyboards?

I would get a casio or timex to do that.....I would NEVER wear my Rolex to do that. I would just keep it in it's hypobaric chamber.

Haven't spent much time around here, have you? This thread was started w/ sarcasm - in response to SO many threads over the years that ask "Can I do X safely with my Rolex?"

You got it! Hence the smiley icon on the thread and the frequent

This was also partially in response to some scolding and lecturing I received in my thread about jogging with my 1680.

In all seriousness, I did think it was a cool picture showcasing the 1680.

If you plan to perform well no probs. If you perform like s**t and haven't checked the watch for its water resistance properties then you may bear the risk of having bottles and glasses of all sorts of liquid beverages thrown at you....that may be risky for your 1680.
Have a good time man!
