Thoughts ?
Alright guys, so I just got one of my watches completely overhauled by my watchmaker. The watch keeps perfect time and appears to run properly when worn, however after I get back for the day (usually around 7) I put it on the winder. The next morning I put it on and noticed it stopped after about 30min (off the winder). I am not overly active in the morning. I usually read the rolex forum for an hour or so , this has happened twice. I am bringing it to my watchmaker for another look through. Any thoughts on this? I realize my winder may not be greatbut the watch should have reserve from my wearing it the previous day etc. Anyway thanks in advance guys.

All the way!!! It's not a woman we're talking about. There is no "all the way" as it will keep on winding forever due to the built in slip clutch mechanism and you have to physically wind it approx. 40 turns to achieve a full wind. Hope this helps. |

I appreciate the help. I'm getting the piece serviced by another watchmaker. Unfortunately, other issues have come to my attention involving another watch and I now plan on using someone else.

It's a bummer. I am a believer in shooting straight with others. If i sense insincerity on the part of someone I am doing business with, it's over.
