A friend is offering to sell this to me but i don't know if it is authentic or not. Any input would be helpful, thanks.

Date looks off and rolex does not polish the inner bezel like that. Sorry bud, looks fake to me. Date looks misaligned as well.

Post some large sharp pictures if you want solid advice. Take dial pictures; case from different angles including the back; bracelet and open/ closed clasp.
