Rolex authenticity questions

I have a circa 98 16613 I bought it from a gray dealer he gave me paperwork as well as a receipt from his diamond selling business. I found him on craigslist and I went to his office he had quite a few other rolexes. The next day I found that the minute dial was skipping. I took it to him and he said it must have been loose as he had the crystal on the watch replaced before he sold it...

Ok so now I am a bit sketched out the magnication on the cyclops doesn't seem to be that great. did he skimp and put in a replica crystal... I need advice but if thats the case I am really going to be irritated. I don't doubt the authenticity of the watch because it looks good BUT that has me really thinking. I will try and post some pics shortly.

Impossible to say anything by that picture.

BTW, this should have been posted in the "watch out" section of the forum.

Very fishy... Why is the date red on a 16613? Have you weighed the watch?

Sorry know one can help you with that poor picture the cyclops is just stuck on crystal. And if it was a genuine Rolex replacement it should have a LEC with a S through the Rolex emblem at 6 O'Clock on crystal as service replacement its very hard to see with naked eye.

I am sometimes asking myself if I have been missing out on a new sales technique which is based on the theory, that the worse the pic is, the higher the interest on the item to sell is.

So far, I was of the opinion, that if I have something to sell, I'll provide a potential buyer with the best possible pics and I am amazed, that anyone could seriously consider buying a multi-k$ watch based on such a crap pic.

The hands appear to be gold and is that a cap at the center where the hands attach?
