Still my favourite watch
My Breguet Type xx Transatlantique hasn't had a lot of wrist time lately. I've been totally engrossed in Panerai. But, I love this watch like no other and I still cherish it as much as the first day I put it on.
I finally took off the bracelet and put it on a leather strap, which I think pays more homage to it's heritage with the French navy in the 1950s. Some day I hope to take a picture of this watch which will capture it's true beauty. So far, I've only come close. |

That is a nice watch from a company with a fine and long tradition. The leather strap compliments it superbly.

Thanks Adrian!
I like this strap on it, but it just happened to be the only one I had around that looked halfway decent. This watch deserves a quality gator I think!
cheers, Bruce |

Thanks alot Daren!
Yeah new ones come along and you love them, but never like the ONE. That's what the Breguet is for me.

Honestly, Bruce, I think your pics are superb. But if you want my very honest opinion, I always like my watches on bracelets. I'm just not a strappy guy! |

Great watch with a fine heritage of almost 200 years of watchmaking.

Thanks for the comments guys!
Adrian, the snappy gator comment went right over my head before. It must've been real late!
JJ you just have to be secure to wear you watches on a strap |
