24 hours later.....
I wore the watch for about 12 hours and put it away back in its green box (faced up) for 12 hours. It is now +2 seconds. Does that sound good? It would have been around +30 seconds before the service. That is still not bad after 20 years. I am very pleased again. This may sound a bit stupid, does that mean if it stays the same it will be +4 tommorow and +6 next day and so on or +2 all the time? I have never really noticed the timing until it was way out. How often do people reset their watches so they are accurate as possible? |

I like your watch. I know what you mean about putting it on a winder. I had purchased a winder off ebay in the $50 range and it was a quad. It also had a drawer for rings and other stuff. The thing about a winder is that it will wind your watch and also keep the dust off of it.

I haven't been wearing my watch for more than a few hours at a time for the last few days. It stopped last night. It was +14 seconds since last Saturday (6.5 days).
If it stops, how often is it best to wind it up to keep it running nice ? |

I had to take a pic of this. It hasn't been this bright for a long time since the luminous stopped.

Just taken a few more quick pics. I thought the latest White Stripes album would make a good background. Unfortunately, it doesn't look quite as nice as I have been wearing it. First pic is greyscaled as I wanted to see what it looked like.
