Basel '11: Ladies Datejust (Ladies Only)

The 26mm Ladies Datejust is still the most popular Rolex for the sophisticated Ladie, and no self respecting Club Member would be without one..

This year it's in Gold Dust on a solid TT Jubilee with matching diamonds.....

Looked at the current 31mm two tone with diamond dial and bezel for the wife today. Not sure she'll like the size as she currently has a standard 26mm. This looks to be a good alternative. The dial looks a little bust - but maybe not so much so in person. I like it.

It's pretty, but no lume!

If it don't glow, it's no, no, no.

This watch offends me, worse yet, it should offend rolex. That dial is in my opinion one of the worst dials rolex has produced yet.

^The other new Ladies introduction at Basel is even more ornate and flowery...

I don't have a quarrel with the lack of lume. It's not a requirement for me, and I don't have it on my DJ, although it's wonderful on sports models.

Camouflage... As if the Lady DJ dial isn't difficult enough to read!

Wife is finding this mid size Cartier much easier to read than her small champagne dial DJ.

Art, that watch is very nice.

But this is the kind of readability I need (yes, and about that exact size you see on the monitor, too!):

That's why my Daytona sits in the safety box, can't read it. The LV is what I usually go with, it's easy for me to read.

with all that bling bling i don't think it's necesary to have any luminova.

besides, i think they are more suitable for like entering the red carpet, absorbing paparazzis flashlight and will always get surrounded by lights.

I know I'm late to this thread, but I just can't hold back....
I'm so confused by this piece -- speckles, diamonds, and on top of everything else (literally), a cyclops. Diamonds & a bubble magnifier just don't mix, imho. Should be interesting to see how it fares on the market.

The dial is too busy, I prefer the white MOP diamond dial MUCH more. I saw the new diamond bezel on a TT and it just doesn't do anything for me. IMO the new flower dial is horrible but a lot of ladies seem to be getting that one!

Got this 26mm DJ one for my wife's birthday, think it's quite subtle but still pretty.

Looking for a datejust reference

Hello everybody?

I have visited lately a rolex shop and seen a wonderful datejust. But now, I can't find it anywhere (internet, rolex website). My husband is in Paris and I would like to send him the reference. Can somebody please help me find it!
here are some of its characteristics:

datejust 31 mm
bracelet jubilee with everose gold
chocolate font
roman dials, with the "VI" in diamonds
the upper circle is not smooth and with no diamonds

thank you!!
