No. The 1580 cannon pinion has a height of 2.75mm vs 2.85mm for the 3035.

So that means I couldn't use a set of hands from the 1580 on a 3035? That 0.10mm seems insignificant.

I was just answering your original question - the cannon pinions are not the same as evidenced by the different heights. As Rikki stated, hands may be interchangeable depending on the diameter of the posts.
