Newbie Clocking In !
Hi All,
My name is Costa and based in the showery UK (although the weather is not that bad at the moment). I have been lurking on here since July this year, browsing, dreaming and fully cementing my desire for my first Rolex. Excellent amount of knowledge and information in here, members are friendly and always happy to help newbie’s like myself. I have always been interested in watches from a young age I have owned a few nice watches in the past from your general Rotary, Seiko brands to an Omega and a TAG but I have always hungered for a Rolex. I have seen some nice deals over on the for sale part of the site but have been reluctant to pull the trigger only for the fact that a trusted seller may not want to deal with a newbie with little or no post counts but I would gladly like to be proved wrong on that assumption. I will not be deterred however hence introducing myself to the community. So where am I currently at with my quest for my first Rolex......I have booked my first holiday to the States and will landing in LA on the 1st for 8 days and then moving onto Las Vegas for a further 5 days and during that time I would love to acquire a Rolex to satisfy my urges for one and also as a reminder of my first trip to the USA. So my question is can the experts point me in the direction of a recommended store within LA and Las Vegas or would a trusted TRF seller who is willing to meet face to face depending on their current inventory – The three models I have narrowed it down to is GMT II C, Sub 2008 onwards or a Sub Anniversary. Welcome, You sound a bit like me, in that I also had Tags and Seikos etc and then I wanted a Rolex. Good luck in your search for the perfect one.

Work in London sir, near St James Park and would you believe it, its now raining. Live in West Wickham, little town near Bromley if you know it. Oh well I will be in the USA on Saturday and the weather looks good |
