I have a 1966 OP 1002, cal.1570 with SN 137XXXX - any idea what box they would have used for this watch?

Your question
Quote:
I know two kind of box with 67.00.08 reference: On the left you have the early 67.00.08, on the right the late 67.00.08.
Probably your 16750 (product '82-sold '83) is correct with the early

Continue....
Please continue to say for your watch:
1) ref. watch 2) ref. box 3) date of purchase This is a free database, I can't reply to all your request. If your ref.watch is in database you'll know the correct box, otherwise you'll have to continue your research. All I know is that database. http://orologi.forumfree.it/?t=60374704 Soon I re-edited it here....

I think this is an important topic and that this thread needs to stay alive so that a complete record is had. Clearly Rolex intended specific boxes for certain watches.

Actually this is more of a question rather than a contribution...
Is this a period correct inner and outer box for a 1972 Oyster Perpetual 1002? The seller's description mentions that it is from the early 70's. Any comments, replies or suggestion would be much appreciated. |

Got a picture of the inside of the box? Also, what number is on the bottom?
