I completely agree with this. Don't get me wrong, I think the blue YM is absolutely gorgeous and I'd wear it in a second - but the Platinum YM is still numero uno for me.

With that being said, when I was deciding for my first (and still only) Rolex - it was between the Yacht-Master and the Daytona, so I'm right with you in terms of selection. I ended up going with the Yacht-Master as I found it to be bolder and more impressive when trying them both on in person.

Considering you already have a black Daytona, I think it would only make sense to get the blue Yacht-Master (or Platinum for that matter!) rather than a 2nd Daytona. I'd recommend trying to source a white dial to swap in and out of your black Daytona - that will probably save you 9k+ ;)
