Tudor Oysterdate Real?

Hi. Just purchased my first tudor. Can someone please help me to verify if this is authentic. Im a newbie so be easy on me! Thanks.

Looks ok to me. What makes you think it might be a fake? Did you buy it too cheap?

Watch looks fine. Get yourself a nice dark leather band, clean it up, and you'll have a very nice, robust watch that will last forever! (with occasional service, of course!) Enjoy.

Thanks. Any ideas on how much Rolex would charge for an overhaul. Or recommendations for any reputable shops that could do the work?

Dial Font

The R on my dial looks different from some of the other watches I have seen.
The end has a little "tail". Was it common for the font to be slightly different on different models or years?

Most any high street watchmaker could service and get movement parts for your watch as it uses one of the well respected ETA 2484 or 2824 ETA movements.
