I love that Daytona white dial!

It's funny how some Rolex dials look better in real life than in photos. I often feel that about my white dial SS Daytona. When you look at the professional photos on the likes of Chrono24 and so on - thinking about (dreaming about) models to buy, I often think this one looks so underwhelming. But the quality is just stunning and in certain light, it looks amazing. At the weekend it was bright, but fully overcast, so the light was completely diffused. I caught sight of the dial while out for a walk and thought "lovely!". I grabbed a shot with my iPhone and I think it just about captured it. It is uncropped, unsharpened, unwhatevered - just straight from the iPhone.

I agree completely. Though I don't own one...yet. Until I had the white dial SS Daytona on my wrist I never really appreciated it. Now it is definitely my next purchase. Grail watch for me for sure.

How about the fact that not having a date is real PITA when using the watch in a rotation! I never realized how much I glanced down at my watch for the date until I bought my Daytona. Have thought about selling it so many times for that reason alone
