A 14060 has a new keeper

Hi Folks,
Joined a few months ago in anticipation of my first Rolex purchase and to do some research into the models I've been considering. Knew I would go for something in the Submariner range, just a question of which one and then bide my time for the right one with the right seller at the right price.
Looking at the range, I just preferred the non date 14060 for it's clarity and simplicity. Not too old, not too new and reflecting the original concept.
I was lucky to find exactly what I was looking for, the one I purchased had the full kit with it, including the original receipt and boxes and purchased from the first owner and verified by the selling AD to boot. All advice I gleaned from this forum held me in good stead to ensure I was doing the right thing with the right seller.
Anyway, the watch is an absolute cracker and I love the simplicity of it, a few light marks on the bracelet and a very feint scratch on the glass but I'm not going to worry about that as I'm sure I'll add a few more through my ownership.
In this age of disposable goods, it's nice to own something to be passed on and not be discarded, if it gains in value that's a bonus as long as it doesn't gain time.
Thanks for the advice found in these pages, it made my purchase a very pleasant event. Hope I can contribute in a small way when posting but I know my limitations compared to the knowledge of others amongst us.
Cheers,
Vif
