I don't have any Rolex shots so I hope I'm allowed to post these Panerai pics instead.
My very good friend, Torsten, had 3 of the 4 Pre-Vendome models that Panerai manufactured during its 'reincarnation' in 1993. First pic is of the 5218-203/A on my wrist. This is the forerunner of the PAM04A and a LOT rarer! It was a truly beautiful watch and I was very lucky to even try it on! Next watch on my wrist is the Mare Nostrum - 5218-301/A on blue sharkskin strap. .....and the last pic has nothing to do with me! It's a gratuitous babe pic of Italian actress Anna Falchi wearing a Panerai :) |

Daren, I gotta say, the more I see pics of your PAM, the more I like it. Next time I'm in my AD, I may have to try it on if they have one lying around.

Like the first three, Mike.
The strap just doesn't do it for me, though.

B. It's that particular strap that doesn't do it for me. I am a fan of straps in general, but they've got to look right. It puts me in mind of putting a 5 caret flawless diamond in a Crackerjack ring setting.
