Dumb strap question
Okay, On my Submariner , I know the strap can "extend" .
When I tried the watch, the AD only showed me how to "click" it back into normal, The manual says, apply preassure near the "O" engraved link. What do I really do to extend the bracelet??? How hard do I pull? Thanks |

Whilst pressing on the small 'o' with your thumb, lock the rest of your fingers around the few links above the link with the 'o' and give a slight tug in the upward direction. It should come free!! When refolding the extension link, just push the flat ends in and then apply slight pressure on the rest of the links that fall within the perimeters of the clasp. BINGO!! Good luck and let me know how it worked out!! JJ

Hey Launch Mini, don't feel bad about being unable to do it mate. I had my sub 2 months before I could work out how to extend the sel bracelet!
JJ is right suggesting that method. Just don't use pliers! Cheers, Steve |

I think a trip to the AD might be in order.
I'm pulling pretty hard. Dont want to break it. When I tried it on at the dealer, it was already extended. He showed me to place it at 90 Degrees & push in. Worked fine in one direction. |

Not to split hairs here LM, but a strap is made of leather, nylon, rubber, carbon fiber, etc... a bracelet is made of steel or Ti. Cheers!

Went to the AD today.
To extend the new bracelet, you need to put the links at a 90 degree angle from the clasp, then PUSH in on the marked link , towards the clasp. Opposite of the old version of pulling. And, I snooped around at there collection. I tried on JJ's TT blue face YM. Was very nice, and reasonably priced. Think I might add this to my wish list |
